Field Technician
Reports to Director of Special Projects/Oil & Gas Projects Coordinator
Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Responsible for GPS and Oil & Gas well-site equipment data collection.
- Responsible for care and maintenance of company vehicle.
- Responsible for care and maintenance of GPS & computer equipment issued by company.
- Responsible for communication with supervisor and other field personnel to ensure quality control and efficiency of data collection process.
- Responsible for submitting field data in required formats for office use.
- Responsible for following safety practices as set down by company.
- Responsible for acceptable representation of company and County Assessor.
Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
- Familiar with legal descriptions and basic map reading skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Proven record working unsupervised or in a supervisory capacity on a daily basis.
- Available for out-of-state travel a minimum of two weeks per trip.
- Available to travel up to 75% of time.
- Exposure & understanding of Oil & Gas industry, pipeline systems, production systems, etc…
- Must possess the ability and desire to continue learning.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A bachelor’s degree in any field or a combination of 5 years verifiable full-time work experience and/or college education or military experience.
