Field Technician

Reports to Director of Special Projects/Oil & Gas Projects Coordinator

Responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

  1. Responsible for GPS and Oil & Gas well-site equipment data collection.
  2. Responsible for care and maintenance of company vehicle.
  3. Responsible for care and maintenance of GPS & computer equipment issued by company.
  4. Responsible for communication with supervisor and other field personnel to ensure quality control and efficiency of data collection process.
  5. Responsible for submitting field data in required formats for office use.
  6. Responsible for following safety practices as set down by company.
  7. Responsible for acceptable representation of company and County Assessor.

Qualifications:

  1. Must possess excellent communication skills.
  2. Familiar with legal descriptions and basic map reading skills.
  3. Basic computer skills.
  4. Proven record working unsupervised or in a supervisory capacity on a daily basis.
  5. Available for out-of-state travel a minimum of two weeks per trip.
  6. Available to travel up to 75% of time.
  7. Exposure & understanding of Oil & Gas industry, pipeline systems, production systems, etc…
  8. Must possess the ability and desire to continue learning.
  9. Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Education & Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in any field or a combination of 5 years verifiable full-time work experience and/or college education or military experience.
